State of the Art Manufacturing Facility

To ensure world-class products, our factory is equipped with sophisticated European machinery, streamlined processes and stringent testing facilities. Computer integrated manufacturing lines are characterized by high degree of automation while key raw materials are sourced from global leaders.

At Deccan, we have a full-fledged testing facility, including Materials Lab, Mechanical lab and High voltage lab with, to keep a close eye on quality right from in-coming material, in-process to final product testing.

Research & Development

Government of India Recognized R&D facility

The Government’s Ministry of Science and Technology has recognized our in-house R&D facility and the same is also certified for ISO: 9001:2015 by DNV GL Netherlands. The R&D facility is manned by highly qualified and experienced engineers with PhD and Postgraduate qualifications. The R&D team has written many research and analysis technical papers that have been presented and published in IEEE & CIGRE. The R&D facility is well equipped with EFM software for field modelling, High Voltage equipment such as Impulse Voltage Generator, mechanical test equipment up to 500kN etc.

Continuous Innovation has been in our DNA. Through a combination of internal R&D and strategic partnerships with reputed international leaders, we have been able to introduce new technology that improves efficiency, safety and improved ROI.

DECCAN has many firsts to its credit. We were the first company in the world to manufacture and type-test composite insulator at the highest-ever system voltage of 1200kV, first in India to introduce composite Bus Post Insulators, first in India to manufacture & export composite line post insulators etc.
